KROEGER:

"The next report is that of the U.S.G.S."

MR. MOULDER:

"Mr. Chairman, members of the Board,
ladies and gentlemen, my intent when I came
down today was to give the Survey's report
to the Board. If the rain continues, I
would like to recruit some stream gagers
among you.

We made our last report to the Board in
November of 1968. Since that time we have
made a considerable amount of progress and I
would like to summarize some of that progress
by showing a few of the slides that we have
here. (Mr. Moulder used a screen and slides
to illustrate his presentation.) I am wonder-
ing if the Board members can see the screen?

I

This shows the area that we are actively
investigating at the present time. The area
that is being studied by the Colorado Water
Conservation Board includes southeastern
Colorado, the Arkansas River Valley, the
South Platte and the San Luis Valleys. In
addition to that we have a state-wide pro-
gram that includes gaging stations for stream
gages, water quality stations, and groundwater
data that is being collected state-wide.
