PETERSON: "Would it be agreeable to make that <br />applicable to the Upper Colorado River <br />Commission also through our Commissioner?" <br /> <br />MR. BARNARD, JR.: <br /> <br />"I move that the comments proposed by <br />the Colorado River Water Conservation Dis- <br />trict regarding Indian rights under the <br />Navajo Project be not included with <br />Colorado's comments with the clear under- <br />standing that they are to be presented to, <br />and urged by, the Commissioner appointed <br />by the Governor in connection with the <br />San Juan-Chama and Navajo Projects; that <br />the records of the Board clearly show that <br />such action does not constitute a rejection <br />of the policy expressed in the comments; <br />that the Board, as a matter of policy, ap- <br />proves the position therein stated; and <br />this matter also be referred to the Colorado <br />representative on the Upper Colorado River <br />Commission." <br /> <br />Mr. Bunger said that he did not believe Colorado <br />needed to worry about the amount of water the Navajo'could use. <br /> <br />MR.
