the commissioners meet."

MR. PETERSON: "Would it be agreeable to make that
applicable to the Upper Colorado River
Commission also through our Commissioner?"

MR. BARNARD, JR.:

"I move that the comments proposed by
the Colorado River Water Conservation Dis-
trict regarding Indian rights under the
Navajo Project be not included with
Colorado's comments with the clear under-
standing that they are to be presented to,
and urged by, the Commissioner appointed
by the Governor in connection with the
San Juan-Chama and Navajo Projects; that
the records of the Board clearly show that
such action does not constitute a rejection
of the policy expressed in the comments;
that the Board, as a matter of policy, ap-
proves the position therein stated; and
this matter also be referred to the Colorado
representative on the Upper Colorado River
Commission."

Mr. Bunger said that he did not believe Colorado
needed to worry about the amount of water the Navajo'could use.
