<br />879 <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />1. All water consumptively used in connection with the <br />Navajo Indian Project, for any purpose, shall be charged to <br />the share of water apportioned to the State of New Mexico by <br />and in the Upper Colorado River Basin Compact, as provided by <br />Article VII thereof, regardless of any preferred or other status <br />given rights to the use of water by or for the benefit of <br />Indian tribes or lan0s, either by Act of Congress or by <br />decisions of the courts. <br /> <br />/ 2. That the aggregate consumptive use of Colorado <br />River water in the State of New Mexico, either by or for the <br />benefit of Indian Tribes or lands, or for any other purpose <br />or purposes, shall not exceed 11.25~ of the water apportioned <br />to and actually physically available for use.in the Upper <br />Basin States under the provisions of the Upper Colorado River <br />Basin Compact, and the Colorado River Compact. <br /> <br />. 3.
