BASIS FOR INSTREAM FLOW RECO~ATION

· The DOW documented that a natural environment is present in the form of a brook and rainbow trout

fishery.
· Based on the DOW's biological recommendation, flows of 1.25 cfs, summer, and 0.5 cfs, winter, are
necessary to preserve the natural environment to a reasonable degree

· . CWCB staffhas conducted a water availability analysis and determined these amounts are available for
the Board's appropriation. ..
· CWCB staff has determined that adequate water supplies exist such that the natural environo{e~tmay be
