BASIS FOR INSTREAM FLOW RECOMMENDATION

· The BLM documented that a natural environment is present in the form of a brook trout fishery.

· Based on the BLM's biological recommendation, flows of 1.25 cfs, summer, and 0.75 Cfs, winter, are
necessary to preserve the natural environment to a reasonable degree.

CWCB staffhas conducted a water availability analysis and determined these amounts are available for
the Board's appropriation.
· CWCB staff has determined that adequate water supplies exist such that the natural en':(ironmentmay be
