Platte below the Cherry Creek confluence..

Colorado River Matters

a.

Negotiations among Seven Basin States
The Seven Basin States' representatives met on April 7.10, 1992,
concerning Colorado River issues. Mr. Jim Lochhead will provide an
update on these discussions.

b.

Colorado River Operation Planning Studies
The Bureau of Reclamation is conducting a series of technical studies
entitled "Colorado River Operation and Planning Studies (CROPS) to
evaluate surplus conditions on the Colorado River. Mr. Jim Lochhead
will present the results of these studies.

c.

5 Year Review of Long Range Operating Criteria
The Bureau of Reclamation has formally consulted with the Seven
Basin States on the Review of the Operating Criteria. The staff will
present the results of this consultation to the Board.

d.

Colorado River Decision Support System (CRDSS).
The Board and the State Engineer staff will brief the Board on the
status of the CROSS,

Congressional Legislation
Mr. Jim Lochhead will discuss legislation being considered by Congress
on Colorado River matters.

Update Accounting Spreadsheet (added)
Status Report on an initiative by the Colorado River Water
Conservation District in conjunction with Reclamation, CWCB, SED,
DWB, NCWCD, and Colorado Springs to improve Reclamation's
Colorado River Accounting Spreadsheet.

Matters in Litigation - public comment on Item 9

The Attorney General's staff will provide an update on the status of
this lawsuit.
