This Analysis was prePared due to the Norwood Water Commission
filing on 5cfs of water on the San Miguel River and th~ diversion point that was chosen in the application
(94CW244). .
The Norwood Water Commission Board feels that",e proposed Instream Flows could prevent
them, a junior water rights applicant, from diverting water d)Jring low flow years in the months of October
through March. The Norwood Water Commission Board f.\lls that they have put forth a great effort and
thousands of dollars by having this study prepared and we ask you to take it into consideration before you
adopt your proposed (nstream Flow Protection plan in 2002:
Thank you for your time in considering our request. If you have any questions you may reach me
at (970) 327-4288 or at my business at (970) 327-4271.

~.s'e elIYY/,~ J ~
/"~/.4

.

Michael J.
