<br />Water and Power Authoritv Bond Issues <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />A summary of water project bonds issued by the Colorado Water Resources and Power <br />Development Authority during the last twelve months is shown in Table 3 for purposes of <br />comparison. For Small Water Resource Projects loans, the lending rate is equivalent to <br />the yield of the bonds while Drinking Water Revolving Fund loans are typically made at <br />80 percent of the yield on the bonds. Note these are generally 20-year loans. <br /> <br />Table 3. Staff further recommends that, as in previous <br />years, the 30-year lending rate be reduced for each category of loans by one-quarter of <br />one percent for all loans with maturities of20 years or less but more thanlO years and by <br />one-half of one percent for all loans with maturities of 10 years or less, Staff requests <br />that, if a borrower opts for a term of less than 30 years, staff is allowed to adjust the <br />lending rate in accordance with the criteria specified in the preceding sentence. <br /> <br />Attachment <br />Cc: Linda Bassi, AGO <br />Dan Law, Water & Power <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />3 <br />
