March 29. 1999 Call to Order A regular meeting of the Colorado Water Conservation Board was held at the Douglas County Offices' Philip S. Miller Building, 100 3rd Street in Castle Cock, CO 80 I 04" The meeting was called to order at 1: 15 p.m. on Monday, March 29, 1999, by DNR Executive Director Greg Walcher. Nine voting members were present at the time of call to order SO there was a quorum (at least six required). Board members present on this date were David Smith, Ray Werner, Bob Burr, Eric Kuhn, Bill Brown, Lewis Entz, Donald Schwindt, Harold Miskel, Greg Walcher, State Engineer Hal Simpson, Attomey General Ken Salazar, Jennifer Gimbel (representing the Attorney General and alternating with Ken Salazar), Bruce McCloskey (representing the Division of Wildlife Director) and CWCB Director Peter Evans? Note: While mllny agenda items were taken out of order due to attendee convenience, these minutes are listed in agenda item order for easier reference. 1a. Review lInd Approval of Agenda and Next Meeting Dates Tape I, Start/Stop: 0001 - 0145 Action: There were several additions and one deletion to the agenda, which were noticed in the "AddedIDeleted Agenda Item Notice" from March 26, 1999. )A complete record ofdte meeting has been made on audio cassette tapes. The tapes and the associated staff memorartda are the only legal record of the meeting. These written summaries are intended only as an aid to research and a guide to the tapes. The motions described herein may not necessarily represent a verbatim transcription. Agenda items are presented in numerical order, according to the Agenda for the meeting. Tape numbers and approximate locations are identified for the begiMing and eJ1d of each agenda item. These tapes are available for listening at the CWCB during regular oflice hours. Arrangements to make copies of the tapes or written transcripts of specific agenda items JIlay be produced at the requestor's expense. Notes from the meeting for identification of times and tapes for specific agenda items can also be reviewed at the ewCB offices. 2Voting tallies are based on members present for voting. Members recusing themselves are identified. Because Board members may leave the meeting on occasion, please contact the eWCB office to review the origiJUll meeting notes to determine whether or not a Board member was present during a specific agenda item.
