<br />. <br /> <br />NOTICE OF PUBLIC RULEMAKlNG HEARING <br />BEFORE THE COLORADO WATER CONSERVATION BOARD <br /> <br />SUB.meT <br />This is a notice of a public rulemaking hearing before the Colorado Water Conservation Board <br />(CWCB) for consideration of amendments to, and possible rescission of, the RlCD Rules, 2 CCR <br />408-3. The proposed amendments, or rescission would assure that the RlCD Rules comport with <br />S.B. 06-37, which amends Sections 37-92-102, C.R.S. and related sections. The proposed RICD <br />Rules are attached. A redlined version of the proposed rule showing changes to the current rule <br />is posted on the CWCB's website at http://www/cwcb.state.cQ.us. A hard copy is available upon <br />request to the CWCB staff(1313 Sherman Street, Room 723, Denver, CO 80203; (303) 866- <br />3534). The CWCB may change the proposed amendment as set forth herein prior to or at the <br />rulemaking hearing and the CWCB reserves the right to rescind the current rules altogether, <br />without substituting these rules. Denver, CO (303) 866-3441 <br /> <br />Rulemaking Hearing <br />DATE: November 15, 2006 <br />TIME: 8:00 a.m. <br />PLACE: Denver, CO The hearing will be held at <br /> <br />PUBLIC PARTICIPATION <br />All public comments on the proposed amendment should be made in writing. Oral presentations <br />of the information contained in the written comments will not be necessary; however, the CWCB <br />will allow brief oral summaries of the public written comments to be made, to the extent time <br />allows, as described below. Although the CWCB strongly encourages all interested persons to <br />submit their comments in writing, a short period of time at the end of the rulemaking hearing (a <br />total of30 minutes or less) will be reserved for oral comments by those persons unable to provide <br />the CWCB with written comments. <br /> <br />Written Comment Deadline <br />Twenty-three copies of all public written comments must be delivered to the CWCB office at <br />1313 Sherman Street, Room #723, Denver, CO 80203 by the close of business (5:00 p.m.) on <br />October 10, 2005. The CWCB will accept and consider late written comments and day-of- <br />hearing written comments, but any person who fails to deliver written comments by the October <br />10,2005 deadline will not be entitled to make a Scheduled Oral Presentation, as described below. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Page 1 of3 <br />
