<br />....0'. l~f <br /> <br />WHEREAS, salt cedar increases the risk of flooding through increased sedimentation and . <br />decreased channel conveyance. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Colorado Water Conservation Board <br />supports Senate Bill 2868 - Salt Cedar Eradication Program and directs CWCB staff to convey such <br />support and this resolution to Colorado's Congressional delegation. <br /> <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that upon passage of Senate Bill 2868 the Colorado Water <br />Conservation Board directs staff to work with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and interested parties <br />to secure funding and identity demonstration projects for Salt Cedar eradication and control in <br />Colorado. <br /> <br />CERTIFICATE <br /> <br />We certify that the foregoing is a true and correct copy of a resolution adopted by a majority vote of the <br />members of the Colorado Water Conservation Board meeting assembled in Gunnison, Colorado on <br />September 13, 2002. <br /> <br />Rod Kuharich - Director CWCB <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Don Schwindt - Chairman CWCB <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />2 <br />
