14. Water Supply Protection Section - GOCO (Great Outdoors Colorado RICD Policy)

Action: The Board was updated by the Executive Director John Swartout of GO CO
(Great Outdoors Colorado) regarding a policy for funding RICDs that the GOCO
Board has been discussing and considering adopting. The GOCO Board
requested comments on the proposed policy from the CWCB. A motion was
made by Tom Sharp and seconded by Harold Miskel to reschedule this item to
Jan. 25,2006, and to consider a draft letter for comments to be submitted by the
CWCB to the GOCO Board. Russell George was not present for this agenda
item. The motion was approved unanimously (9-0).

addressing the Board's comments and concerns regarding GOCO's RICD policy,

Action: A motion was made by Tom Sharp and seconded by Eric Wilkinson to approve
staffs recommendation to move up the Water Efficiency Grant Program
application deadlines from the 15th of the month to the 1" of the month, and to
amend the Application and Award Timing section (4d) ofthe Guidelines for the
Water Efficiencv Grant Program to read: Applications can be submitted at
anytime during the fiscal year to the Office for consideration noting that a given
application must be received by the first of the month prior to the Board meeting
to be consideredfor award at that Board meeting (e.g., applications must be
received by February 1" to be considered for award at the March Board
meeting). The motion was approved unanimously (10-0).
