Federal re!!:ulatorv stabilitv by orovidine a oeroetual and beneficial alternative to <br />oermit conditions <br /> <br />Statewide Outreach and Edncation - Each Section shall perform outreach and education <br />including participating in public awareness and program advocacy activities to increase <br />public and organizational understanding of CWCB and develop opportunities for each <br />Section to achieve their goals. <br /> <br />Water Information - Make information accessible to CWCB's customers and the public <br />regarding stream and lake protection, instream water rights, and lake level protection, as <br />well as general information related to the Section, through publications, the Internet, <br />databases, and the imaging of documents. <br /> <br />Conservation and Drought Planning Section <br /> <br />Promote Water Conservation Planning U~e Efficiency Initiate, evaluate for aooroval, <br />and monitor water conservatiou use efficieney plans from water suppliers and state <br />entities, with an emphasis on those entities serving over 2,000 acre feet of water annually. <br />Provide assistance to water suppliers through meetings, workshops, and personal <br />contacts. Assure conservation cffieiency plans meet statutorY requirements to ensure thcy <br />are of high quality. Make by moldng recommendations and foster the develooment of <br />dcnloping model plans. <br /> <br />Promote Oroueht Plannin!!: - Assist water suopliers to develop drou!!:ht rcsponse and <br />mitieation plans. Provide assistance to water suopliers throueh meetines. workshops. <br />and oersonal contacts. Assure droueht plans meet statutorY requirements to eusure they <br />are of hi!!:h Qualitv. Encouraee communities to prepare and implement droueht olans. <br />Prepare and disseminate water conservation information and model droueht plans <br />includin!!: Best Mana!!:ement Practices for landscape apd turf manaeement for a wide <br />varietv of water users. <br /> <br />Conservation and Oroueht Plan nine Assistance - Develop and maintain an inventory of <br />communities with conservatiou and drought plaus. Provide technical and finaucial <br />assistance to water users and communities to evaluate their water supply facilities under <br />drought scenarios and to help communities develop conservation and drought.
