Action: A motion was made by Janice Sheftel that the Board approve a grant of up to $37,500 from any funds available to the Board from the Severance Tax Trust Fund Operational Account over a 3-year period with a 50% cost share from El Paso County, and that the study also include demand management and water conservation in its scope of study, and that the County work with the State Engineer on ground water studies. The motion was seconded by Alan Hamel and approved (7-1). e 16d. Construction Fund - Non-Reimbursable Construction Projects and Investigations- Colorado Climate Center - Colorado Collaborative Rain and Hail Study Tape 3, Start/Stop: 3909 - 4500 Action: A motion was made by Eric Kuhn that the Board accept the staff recommendation to become a member of the Colorado Collaborative Rain and Hail Study by allocating up to $10,000 from any funds that may be available from the Operational ACCOunt of the Severance Tax Trust Fund in either FY 1999 or FY 2000, with the funds to go directly to the Colorado Climate Center.
