<br />Action: <br /> <br />A motion was made by Janice Sheftel that the Board approve a grant of up <br />to $37,500 from any funds available to the Board from the Severance Tax <br />Trust Fund Operational Account over a 3-year period with a 50% cost share <br />from El Paso County, and that the study also include demand management <br />and water conservation in its scope of study, and that the County work with <br />the State Engineer on ground water studies. The motion was seconded by <br />Alan Hamel and approved (7-1). <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />16d. Construction Fund - Non-Reimbursable Construction Projects and Investigations- <br />Colorado Climate Center - Colorado Collaborative Rain and Hail Study <br />Tape 3, Start/Stop: 3909 - 4500 <br />Action: A motion was made by Eric Kuhn that the Board accept the staff <br />recommendation to become a member of the Colorado Collaborative Rain <br />and Hail Study by allocating up to $10,000 from any funds that may be <br />available from the Operational ACCOunt of the Severance Tax Trust Fund in <br />either FY 1999 or FY 2000, with the funds to go directly to the Colorado <br />Climate Center. The motion was seconded by Patricia Wells and approved <br />unanimously (8-0). <br /> <br />16e.
