The DOW documented that a natural environment is present in the form of a brook and rainbow trout
fishery.
. Based on the DOW's biological recommendation, flows of2.5 cfs, summer, and 1 cfs, winter, are tit
necessary to preserve the natural environment to a reasonable degree.
. CWCB staffhas conducted a water availability analysis and determined these amounts are available for
the Board's appropriation.
. CWCB staffhas determined that adequate water supplies exist such that the natural environment may be
preserved without limiting or foreclosing the exercise of valid existing water rights.

CONSULTATIONS:

DOW: Jay Skinner

8/26/96

DWR: Ken Knox

8/26/96

CWCB STAFF:

Prepared By: Uppendahl 4/15/98

Reviewed By: Espegren

5/1/98

e

C:\MARKINEW _RECS\WPSl\RECOMMENDATlON SUMMARY REPORT.doc
