Based on the BLM's biological recommendation, flows of2 cfs, summer, and 0.75 cfs, winter, are
necessary to preserve the natural environment to a reasonable degree.
. CWCB staffhas conducted a water availability analysis and determined these amounts are available for
the Board's appropriation.
. CWCB staffhas determined that adequate water supplies exist such that the natural environment may be
preserved without limiting or foreclosing the exercise of valid existing water rights.

CONSULTATIONS:

BLM: Roy Smith

8/26/96

.1 DWR: Ken Knox

8/26/96

CWCB STAFF:

Prepared By: Uppendahl 4/15/98

Reviewed By: Espegren

5/1198

e

C:\MARKINEW _RECS\WPS llRECOMMENDATlON SUMMARY REPORT.doc
