BASIS FOR INSlREAM FLOW RECOMMENDATION

. The BLM documented that a natural environment is present in the form of a brook trout fishery.
. Based on the BLM's biological recommendation, flows of 1.5 cfs, summer, and 0.75 cfs, winter, are
necessary to preserve the natural environment to a reasonable degree. e
. CWCB staff has conducted a water availability analysis and determined these amounts are available for
the Board's appropriation.
. CWCB staffhas determined that adequate water supplies exist such that the natural environment may be
preserved without limiting or foreclosing the exercise of valid existing wa~er rights.
