I <br />It depends on many, many things of course, <br />whether it would come into being, the possi- <br />bility of plugging two highly saline wells <br />in the Upper Colorado that are contributing <br />a lot of salt to the system to see whether <br />or not they can in some way mitigate in- <br />creased contributions of salt from future <br />development by eliminating some of the <br />existing contributions. <br /> <br />On Advance Planning, the Fruitland Mesa <br />Project definite plan report was completed <br />in June 1967 and has been forwarded to our <br />Commissioner's office and was approved last <br />October. The preconstruction activities <br />are expected to be finished during fiscal <br />year 1969. <br /> <br />On the Savery-Pot Hook Project, plan <br />formulation and the various facets of our <br />overall study are under way. This definite <br />plan report is expected to be finished in <br />fiscal year 1970. <br /> <br />We have had some reclamation project <br />activity in Colorado recently with the <br />Overland Reservoir Company in Hotchkiss. <br />They have provided a partial preliminary <br />draft of their application report for re- <br />view; and engineers for the Yamcolo Reser- <br />voir Company in Yampa, Colorado, are doing <br />some design study work in order to establish <br />an estimate within the company's repayment <br />abili ty. <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />Mr. Chairman, that constitutes Region <br />4's report, which you have in written form, <br />with a few supplementary remarks." <br /> <br />"Dave, do you care to comment on what <br />you think the status of the budget is, at <br />
