That will be done in antici-

2

pation of entering contracts this summer. Secondly, I've as-

3 signed to the construction section staff consideration of ways

4 in which we might begin to better define the needs of projects

5 so if we have to shift into a priority system, there are some

6 relationships between that procedure and the Governor's pro-

7 posed Human Settlements pOlicy, which will be discussed this

8 afternoon. Some efforts are being made on a miltiagency basis

9 to come up with a complete inventory of the needs, quote, un-

10 quote, for, let's say, rural water supplies in the state of

11 Colorado, then identify the financial resources of the state.

12 First of all, that requires an inventory process. If there are

others that the Board would like us to begin, we would be glad

to report back in March; but those two or three things I have

19 under way in anticipation of the extra money.

20
21
22
23
24
25

MR. STAPLETON: It seems to me that I would like to

see, by the March meeting, some preliminary plan and outline

of procedures concerning manpower, priorities, cooperation

with other agencies who are going to be involved, and those

sort of things.

MR. McDONALD: Okay. That's entirely consistent
