Tilton Lateral Inc. operates the lateral to supply water to 36 shareholders for <br />irrigation within the 177-acre service area. The lateral is in poor condition and delivers only half <br />its allocated water. The Company needs to rehabilitate the lower portion of the system by placing <br />it in pressurized pipe. This work needs to be complefed in fall 2001 to allow the Company to <br />access NRCS cost share funds for the project. The average annual volume diverted is 960 acre- <br />feet. The Tilton Lateral Inc. is a mutual ditch company and a nonprofit corporation registered In <br />the State of Colorado.
