<br />Agenda Item 61 <br />Case No. 4-98CW247; Mountain Village Metropolitan District <br /> <br />Aoolication Summary <br /> <br />This is an application for goundwater rights, surface water rights, change of water rights, plan for <br />augmentation and exchange on Vance Creek and Turkey Creek near Telluride in San Miguel <br />County (see attached map). In association with a residential development, Applicant proposes <br />that the Wagner Ditch and the Telco Well No. 3/5A8 First Enlargement as alternate points of <br />diversion for 0.699 cfs of the Agricultural Ditch. The Agricultural Ditch and the Telco Well No. <br />3/5A8 First Enlargement are also proposed to be alternate points of diversion for 0.2 cfs of the <br />Wagner Ditch. Applicant proposes adding the following-uses to the Wagner and Agricultutal . <br />Ditches: Stock, Recreation, fish and wildlife, fire, augmentation, domestic, municipal, <br />commercial and aesthetic. In addition, Applicant proposes an alternate place of use for the <br />Wagner and Agricultural Ditches. In addition, the proposed plan <br />for augmentation may not replace depletions to the San Miguel River and the South Fork of the San <br />Miguel River in the same time, amount or location at which they occur. <br /> <br />Other Obiectors <br /> <br />Other objectors include the Town ofTelluride, Skyfield Mutual Ditch Company, the Zoline Family <br />.
