Develop recommendation on acquisition of water right. <br /> <br />Staff will develop a water acquisition agreement or a contract that is tailored to address <br />the Board's terms and conditions as well as those of the owner of the water right. Staff <br />will then present the agreement along with its findings about the subject water right to the <br />Board and will advise the Board on the terms and conditions under which the Board may <br />acquire the subject water right. Subsequent to the approval of the water acquisition <br />agreement by both parties, the Board, or the Board and the owner of the water right as co- <br />applicants, may file an application in the water court to change the acquired water for <br />instream flow uses.
