Bassi <br />Assistant Attorney General <br />Natural Resources Section <br />1525 Sherman Street, 5th Floor <br />Denver, Colorado 80203 <br /> <br />SENT VIA FAX <br /> <br />Dear Linda: <br /> <br />This is a follow-up to our conversation a few minutes ago concerning the assignment <br />of the land lease at the restaurant property at Riveriront. <br /> <br />Currently, the property (legal description is attached) is owned by 1100 Drake, Ltd., a <br />Colorado limited partnership, and Pitchers!, Inc. is the restaurant tenant. 1100 Drake <br />is selling the property to Carrera Two, Ltd., a Sub-S corporation owned by William J, <br />and Kathleen S, Curnow. In order to legally effectuate this sale and transfer, we need <br />to assign the land lease with the Water Conservation Board to Carrera Two, Ltd. and <br />in order to do that, we need the Water Conservation Board's consent to the assignment. <br />As I mentioned, our lease with Pitchers, which will also be assigned to the new owners, <br />calls for Pitchers to make the land lease payments each year, as they have been doing. <br />This will not change, so the assignment will just be substituting Carrera Two, Ltd. for <br />1100 Drake, Ltd. as far as the Water Conservation Board is concerned, <br /> <br />I realize this is the last minute in terms of getting this item on your Board agenda for <br />the upcoming Board meeting, but I have been trying to get either you or Larry for the <br />past 10 days. and you were both on vacation.
