8. Flood Protection - Probably Maximum Precipitation (PMP) Site-Specific Study for the
Cherry Creek Reservoir - Study Findings and Recommendations

Action: A motion was made by Harold Miskel with a second by Carolyn McIntosh to
approve the staff recommendation. The CWCB staff recommends that the
Board accept the Probable Maximum Precipitation (PMP) Site-Specific Study
for Cherry Creek Reservoir that was completed by Applied Weather Associates
in August, 2003. Staff further recommends that the CWCB Director present the
Board's favorable acceptance of independent peer review of the Teclmical
Review to Cherry Creek Basin interests, sponsoring communities, Colorado's
Congressional Delegation, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - Omaha District
and the Colorado General Assembly in response to Senate Joint Resolution 99-
023.

The motion was approved 8-0. Greg Walcher was not present in the room. Ray
Wright was not present.
