Flood Protection - Probably Maximum Precipitation (PMP) Site-Specific Study for the <br />Cherry Creek Reservoir - Study Findings and Recommendations <br />Tape 1, Track 2 2:11:32-4:15:34 <br />Action: A motion was made by Harold Miskel with a second by Carolyn McIntosh to <br />approve the staff recommendation. The CWCB staff recommends that the <br />Board accept the Probable Maximum Precipitation (PMP) Site-Specific Study <br />for Cherry Creek Reservoir that was completed by Applied Weather Associates <br />in August, 2003. Staff further recommends that the CWCB Director present the <br />Board's favorable acceptance of independent peer review of the Teclmical <br />Review to Cherry Creek Basin interests, sponsoring communities, Colorado's <br />Congressional Delegation, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers - Omaha District <br />and the Colorado General Assembly in response to Senate Joint Resolution 99- <br />023. <br /> <br />The motion was approved 8-0. Greg Walcher was not present in the room. Ray <br />Wright was not present. <br /> <br />9. Flood Protection Section - Presentation by City of Fruita, City of Grand Junction and <br />Mesa County, Colorado - Grand Valley Stormwater Unification Feasibility Project- <br />July 8, 2003 <br />Tape 1, Track 3 0 -15:25 <br />Action: Information item; no formal action taken. <br /> <br />10.
