September 19. 1991 <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />Call to Order <br /> <br />A regular meeting of the Colorado Water Conservation Board was held at the <br />Sheraton Denver Tech Center Hotel, Empire 2 Room, 4900 DTC Parkway, Denver, <br />Colorado. The meeting was called to order at 8:45 a.m. on Thursday, September 19, <br />1991, by Chairman Jackson. Only four voting members were in attendance so there <br />was not a quorum. Present were Eisel, Harrison, Jackson, Smith, and Walker. Absent <br />were Danielson (until 11:00 a.m. Thursday), Lochhead (Thursday only), Martineau <br />(until 12:00 noon Thursday), Meyring (until 12:00 noon Thursday), Norton, Olson, <br />Wright, SalaZar (until 11:00 a.m. Thursday), and Sheftel (until 9:30 a.m. Thursday). <br />Martineau and Meyring were excused to attend their confirrnation hearings before the <br />Senate Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee. Patricia Bangert, Deputy AG, <br />sat at the table for Norton. A quorum not present, informational items were <br />considered first. <br /> <br />7. <br /> <br />City of Broomfield - Request for Alternative to Great Western Reservoir <br />(0-1445, tape 1) <br /> <br />Harrison and Eisel were recused from the discussion. David Walker, CWCB, <br />introduced Marvin Thurber frorn the City of Broomfield who showed a videotape <br />about the project. Charles Ozaki, Broomfield City Manager, and Larry Simpson, <br /> <br />1 A complete record of the meeting has been made on four audio cassette <br />tapes.
