Conduct a "fatal flaws" analysis as a first step in the screening process. <br /> <br />11 c. Conduct a second and, if necessary, a third screening process to narrow the range of <br />alternatives. <br /> <br />11 d. Select one or more preferred alternatives in each basin with input from basin meetings, the <br />study advisory group and the CWCB. . <br /> <br />Task 12 - Water SUP1?lv Strategies <br /> <br />Develop water supply strategies for the implementation of the preferred alternatives in each basin. <br />The strategies will include measures that could be tai<:en on a local, regional or state-wide basis such <br />as new or revised institutional arrangements, statutQry revisions, policy changes of various agencies <br />or organizations, and new or revised water project fuuding methods. Tradeoffs and uncertainties <br />involved in each strategy will be described and co~pared. <br /> <br />The water supply strategies will be reviewed by the study advisory group,by the Colorado Water <br />Conservation Board and at local and basin meetings. Consensus-building activities will be an <br />important aspect of this task. Included in this task will be recommendations for any further analyses <br />or studies that may be needed to provide more detailed information on particular actions or projects. . <br /> <br />12a.
