"That would be just about the time the Legis-
lature is getting under way and I am sure that
as many of them as can will attend our meeting
then. Is there any objection to that date?
Hearing none, the next meeting of the Board will
be in Denver on the 10th of January."

"I'd like to make just one announcement, Mr.
Chairman, regarding the Water congress annual
meeting which will be held next Friday, Novem-
ber 17, in Wyler Auditorium in the Denver public
Library. We are going to keep the routine Water
Congress business to a bare minimum to allow
plenty of time for a report from Ray Moses' Re-
codification Committee. I think we have scheduled
about two and a half hours on the program. for a
complete report and discussion and I would also
like to urge as many as possible to attend this
meeting."

"Thank you, Mr. Scheer.

Is there any further business to come before
the Board?"

"I'd like to ask a question, Mr. Chairman.
Quite sometime ago, about three or four months
ago, we were talking about a tour to the Flaming
Gorge Dam and the Glen Canyon and Navajo, and I
just wondered what had happened to that?"

"I'll tell you, we are going to have lunch -
the Board - at 12:IS and we'll see what can be
developed. Everybody got busy during the end
of the summer and the early fall and I think it
was Mr. Sparks' viewpoint that if we went down
there any later it would be pretty cool and
chilly. At Flaming Gorge, at any rate, and work
would be shut down. I think this is something
we should plan for the spring.

Evidently, from this letter from Mr. Sparks,
as you know, we invited him to attend this meet-
ing but he was so new in his new organizational
matters that he couldn't leave. We hope to in-
vite him to each of our meetings while he's at
least in the states."
