the fact that I think we ought to look at this
again sometime and perhaps consider a policy
that is a little more far-reaching and with a
longer range detail."

hoped that some day we could have a meeting
that would be just addressed to future plans.
I think we all get tied in with the immediate
problems and maybe we can in the fall get some
long-range planning meeting that we can organ-

"That brings one other question up. I'd
like to ask Larry, how far along are we now,
at least on the Front Range or in the heavily
urbanized areas, on the designation of these?
Do we have a significant number now designated
or less than half or just what?"

"We have designated up to this time the
most hazardous areas that we know of in the
populated areas of the Front Range. Some
designations have been made in the more remote
areas such as Wray and Monte vista. There are
about another 10 to 15 studies that are in the
mill at the present time."

"We are about current with the studies
then?"

"We are pretty well current, yes."

"Because the whole state in time ought to
have this kind of study made."

"We are gradually bringing in the whole
state. These requests are still coming in."
