(Survey conducted by <br />the NRCS in January 1996.) <br />Coordinated a River Assessment of the Alamosa River. (Assessment conducted by the <br />NRCS regional riparian team in July of 1996.) <br />Helped develop a Management Plan for the Alamosa River Watershed. (Completed in <br />cooperation with the Conejos County Soil Conservation District, December 1997.) <br />Compiled aerial photography of the Alamosa River for planning and design work for <br />restoration, September 1997. <br />Installed 2 erosion-control pilot projects to demonstrate restoration techniques, 1998 <br />Obtained funding for Conceptual Design for the Alamosa River. (D. Rosgen, March 1999.) <br />Obtained a regional permit from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for river restoration. <br />Completed river field survey for winter 1999 - 2000 projects, in partnership with the NRCS. <br /> <br />3 <br />
