<br />16c. Construction Fund - Non-Reimbursable Construction Projects and Investigations - E1 <br />Paso County Water Authority- Water Study <br />Tape 3. Start/Stop: 3269 - 3902 <br />Action: A motion was made by Janice Shefte1 that the Board approve a grant of up to <br />$37.500 from any funds available to the Board from the Severance Tax Trust <br />Fund Operational Account over a 3-year period with a 50% cost share from <br />E1 Paso County. and that the study also include demand management and <br />water conservation in its scope of study. and that the County work with the <br />State Engineer on ground water studies. The motion was seconded by Alan <br />Hamel and approved (7-1). <br /> <br />16d. Construction Fund - Non-Reimbursable Construction Projects and Investigations- <br />Colorado Climate Center - Colorado Collaborative Rain and Hail Study <br />Tape 3. Start/Stop: 3909 - 4500 <br />Action: A motion was made by Eric KUbn that the Board accept the staff <br />recommendation to become a member of the Colorado Collaborative Rain <br />and Hail Study by allocating up to $10.000 from any funds that may be <br />available from the Operational Account of the Severance Tax Trust Fund in <br />either FY 1999 or FY 2000. with the funds to go directly to the Colorado <br />Climate Center. The motion was seconded by Patricia Wells and approved <br />unanimously (8-0). <br /> <br />16e. Construction Fund - Non-Reimbursable Construction Projects and Investigations- <br />Rio Grande Headwaters Restoration Project Application <br />Tape 3. Start/Stop: 4500 - 6207 <br />Tape 4. Start/Stop: 0001 - 0079 <br />Action: Allen Davey recused himself from this item. A motion was made by Patricia <br />Wells that the Board recommend the applicants prepare a more detailed <br />application for consideration in FY 1999 -2000. whether the funding for this <br />project would be from the FY 2000 - 2001 fiscal year's Severance Tax <br />program for an amount up to $200.000. or would be within the limits of the <br />1999 - 2000 Construction Fund in this fiscal year period (99-00). The <br />motion was seconded by Eric KUbn and approved unanimously (7-0). <br /> <br />16f. Construction Fund - Non-Reimbursable Construction Projects and Investigations- <br />Southeastern Colorado WCD - Phase II. Water and Storage Needs Assessment <br />Tape 4. Start/Stop: 0079 - 0382 <br />Action: A motion was made by Janice Shefte1 that the Board accept the staff <br />recommendation to authorize up to $25.000 to participate in the study from <br />the Construction Fund as a grant. with the understanding that funding for the <br />study will be reallocated if funds become available in the Severance Tax <br /> <br />Minutes January 27-28,1999 <br />Page 10 <br />
