BASIS FORINSTREAM FLOW RECOMMENDATION

The DOW documented that a natural environment is present in the fonn of a cutthroat and rainbow troe
fishery. .'
Based on the DOW's biological recommendation, flows of2.5 cfs, summer, and 1 cfs, winter, are
necessary to preserve the natural environment to a reasonable degree. However, the winter instream
flow recommendation was reduced to 0,5 cfs (11/15-4/30) based on the water availability analysis. The
DOW believes the lower flow recommendation will still preserve the natural environment.
