if the ASC comes up with $500,000, that we're willing to

match the $500,000? I don't see why you limit it. If

the ASC gets the money, why don't we go half of that?

MR. GORMLEY: We would be willing to pay half of the

project costs up to our share, being a million two, and

that's as long as the money is coming and the project is

ongoing.

MR. JACKSON: That's fair.

MR. VANDEMOER: Right. Just to state 50 percent.

MR. KROEGER: Didn't we go clear around the pole on

that one?

MR. GETZ: The money has to be available this year.

MR. PASCOE: I don't think we want to encumber that

money, do we, Herb?

MR. JACKSON: I know what I'd like to say. If .we'd

authorize recommendation to the legislature to recommend

for authorization the Highland Lake Ditch project of up

to $1,200,000 or such portion thereof as is matched

immediately by ASC or other monies. That's what I'd

like to say, or I don't know whether that covers it or

not.
