I supported <br />its inclusion in the bill when it came before the <br /> <br />committee. <br /> <br />The amount involved, as you can see, is an estimated <br /> <br />cost of $633,000. For the Board's information, I should <br /> <br />advise you that these people obviously have needed to <br /> <br />proceed as rapidly as they could. <br />I have advised that if they proceed as they have in <br /> <br />fact proceeded -- and David Miller, their attorney, would <br /> <br />be glad to speak to the situation, I'm sure -- but I have <br /> <br />advised if they proceed, they proceed entirely at their <br />own risk. <br /> <br />I obviously can't speak for the legislature in terms <br /> <br />of whether they ultimately pass the bill. I've also <br /> <br />advised that they proceed at their own risk in the sense <br /> <br />that I am not authorized to execute a contract for that <br /> <br />facility until after the first of the fiscal year, and <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />. <br />
