City of Fort Morgan, an amendment to allow the City's bonds to have parity with our loan <br />as approved by the Board at its July 1997 meeting and to secure the remainder of the <br />collateral required by the Board's approval. The borrower reviewed the amendment and <br />submitted comments on May 10,1999. <br /> <br />6. City of Fort Morgan, a loan authorized by HB98-1189 in the amount of $8,000,000 out of <br />the Construction Fund and the Severance Tax Trust Fund for the final segment of the <br />Southern Water Supply Pipeline. Geological Survey, a joint funding agreement for the Kiowa Core project in <br />conjunction with the Colorado Water Resources and the Denver Museum of Natural <br />History. The agreement was sent to the State Controller for final approval on April 19, <br />1999. <br /> <br />10. U. S. Fish and Wildlife, a grant authorized out of the Fish and Wildlife Resources <br />Account by SB97-8 In the amount of $1,250,000 for the Grand Valley Water <br />Management Project proposed by the Recovery Implementation Program for the <br />endangered fish species of the Upper Colorado River basin. A draft contract was <br />submitted to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife on August 5, 1998 for its review. <br /> <br />11. Wood Lake Mutual Water and Irrigation Company, an amendment to increase the loan <br />amount by $270,000 to $458,000. The contract documents were sent to the company <br />for review on May 11, 1999. <br /> <br />PROJECTS AWAITING CONTRACTING. There are 64 contracts (47 project loans and 17 contract <br />amendments), including the projects on this year's Construction Fund Bill, valued at $61 million <br />that are awaiting contracting. <br /> <br />STAFF RECOMMENDATION.
