The Board will be provided with a summary of some of the
information, which is being presented at the second BRT. Attachment 1 outlines the preliminary
municipal/industrial and agricultural demand forecasts developed for the state for both 2000 and
2030. Attachment 2 is a preliminary draft of the water supply methodology. Over the next few
months the SWSI team will refine the demand estimates and develop water supply estimates, which
can be used in conjunction with the demand estimates to determine where gaps may exist between
available supply and current and projected demand.

The Board will be provided with a presentation of the attached material and be asked for initial
feedback; there is no decision item at this time. The Board will also be provided with a short
summary of discussions held in the Arkansas and Colorado Basin regarding SWSI's approach to
existing planning initiatives and the cataloging of water supply projects that have been identified by
project sponsors or through existing planning initiatives.

Flood Protection.
