"I would say this. If the Board has any
objection, then I think the Attorney General,
and certainly I, would like to know about it
now before a great deal of time is devoted to
it."

"If it's of any value to you at alI, I
think very definitely your Board should look
into this matter strictly from the standpoint
of the State of Colorado, Certainly our Com-
mission, and Mr. Moses is a member of the
legal committee of the Commission, is going
to look into it thoroughlY. But my advice to
you would be, from the standpoint of the State
of Colorado, you should have an independent
look at this problem."

"If there's .onlyone book in the Rocky
Mountains, how are we going to do this?"

"We will have some additional copies
shortly. The decision was released last
Saturday. All we passed around here was the
decree itself which ~rr. Goslin provided us
with. The findings, as has already been in-
dicated, are over 300 pages long. I will
say that we intend to scrutinize the matter
very carefully. I think, however I before the
State of Colorado attempts to get into the
suit at this point, there should be a very
compelling reason, and a reason that we don't
think anybody else can advance for us. We
have attempted to keep out of this suit be-
cause we thought we were not properly a party
to a dispute over the division of lower basin
water.

The only point in what has happened today,
the findings in the decree, is whether or not
there are findings here which could adversely
affect our interests. We don't think that
there legally can be. Nevertheless the de-
