"You have heard Mr. Miller's sugges-
tion. Mr. Conour, did you wish to say
something?"

MR. CONOUR:

come down to the Valley and I was g01ng to
move that we have our August 24th meeting
in Alamosa."

MR. SPARKS:

"The Board members should certainly at-
tend the Boulder meetings, Dave. I never
thought about our regular Board meeting but
I thought. as many of the Board members as
possible would attend this meeting at Boulder
anyway. We would authorize the expenses for
that meeting at Boulder anyway. We would
authorize the expenses but it would be some-
what difficult for us to conduct a separate
meeting of our own at that time."

DR. CLARK:

"The Water Resources Conference main
subject this year is going to be 'Water'.
I know that Mr. Dominy is goihg to be one
of the speakers. During the week of the
22nd they told me."

MR. NELSON:

"There appears to be a question then of
whether we want to have a separate meeting
in the San Luis Valley or whether we want to
have it in conjunction with the Resources Con-
ference in Boulder."

MR. WHITTEN:
MR. NELSON:

"They are a week apart, are they not?"

"The same week of August 24th. What is
your pleasure? I suppose we should decide
today. It would be better for all con-
cerned, I think."

"If you have it the week of the 23rd,
those that came down to Alamosa would only
miss one day of the Resources Conference.
Come down in the morning and leave in the
evening and be back in Denver that night."
