Decision Support System (RGDSS) - Program Starns and Funding

Introduction

RGDSS management staff from CWCB and the Division of Water Resources (DWR) is in the
fmal stages of contract negotiations with the project contractors. Work should begin in
January of 1999.

RGDSS management staff is making a request for funding of $2,983,380 to continue
development of RGDSS in years 2 and 3. Additionally, staff is requesting 2.5 FTEs and
$175,000 for FY 2000.

Program Starns

Since the September 21-22, 1998, Board Meeting, staff has been finalizing scopes of work in the
course of contract negotiations with the selected consultants. (Consultants are listed in the table
below.) This process has taken longer than expected because of the number of consultants and
the complexity of the project. The next step includes review of the fmal scopes of work with an
advisory committee.
