<br />Remarks by Don Anderson, Bureau of Reclamation,to the 3-Committee <br />Meeting in keystone, Colorado, October 24, 1979 <br />The Source and DisPosition of <br /> <br />Reclamation Revenue <br /> <br />.,:,; <br /> <br />Good morning. <br />It is a pleasure to appear before the Three Committee <br />joint informational meeting of the Western States Water <br />Council to brief YOU on the so-called Basin Accounts and <br />on Reclamation revenue in general. <br />In this briefing, I will provide what I believe are <br />the pertinent details on eachaccollnt and the current <br />balances -~'current, that is, through September 30, 1978, <br />since the data through September 30, 1979 is not yet available. <br /> <br />" <br /> <br />TI1ere are two items that must be discussed before we <br /> <br />. . <br />can get into th~ current sources and disposition of reclom- <br />at i on revenue. They are:. the types of revenue recei pt <br />accounts in generaL and the speci fie revenue types <br />reclamation has claim to. <br /> <br />In the first category, the types of revenue receipt <br />accounts in the Federal Treasury, there are four different <br />types of funds or accounts.
