Walcher <br />Executive Director <br /> <br />Pan McAuliffe <br />Acting Director <br /> <br />In November you approved a recollliI1endation to allocate $3.259 million from the Native <br />Species Conservation Fund for Recovery Programs for the Endangered Fish of the Upper <br />Colorado and San Juan River Basin. <br /> <br />I have continued to work with the Executive Director's office and the DOW on a more <br />complete request. Following these consultations and a stakeholders meeting on Jan. 15 in Denver <br />hosted by the Executive Director's office that Rod and I attended, I have the following amended <br />recollliI1endation: <br /> <br />Recommendation <br /> <br />That $ 2,016,000 from the Native Species Conservation Trust Fund be authorizedfor <br />expenditure on the programs in the attached memo from Russell George that was presented and <br />approved by the Colorado Wildlife Commission during its meeting on January 11-12. <br /> <br />Attachments <br /> <br />A memo from DOW Director Russ George to the Colorado Wildlife Commission that <br />was reviewed and approved by stakeholders. <br /> <br />. <br />
