Walker
Deputy Director

DATE:

SUBJECT: Agenda Item 18, June 3, 1982, Board Meeting--
Schedule for Future Board Meetings

As you will recall, the Board will be reviewing the interim
results of the S.B. 439 Cache la Poudre project study in order to
select the alternatives which will be analyzed in detail. The
meeting now scheduled for August 5-6 needs to be moved back a
couple of weeks to provide enough time for the public to review
and comment on the interim report before the Board acts.

I would also suggest that the meeting be ~ld in Denver,
rather than elsewhere in the state as tentatively planned, since
many people from the Fort Collins area may wish to attend. In
addition, I expect to present the final report of the South
Platte River Basin Assessment to the Board at the August meeting,
which is another reason to stay in Denver. Finally, I expect to
take action on the Closed Basin project repayment contract at the
October meeting, which meeting could now be held in Alamosa.

Under these circumstances, I recommend that the Board adjust
its schedule as follows:

Meeting Date Location
August 17-18, 1982 Denver ~d,J/
October 7-8, 1982 Alamosa
December 2-3, 1982 Denver
February 3-4, 1983 Denver
Apri I 7-8, 1983 Denver
June 2-3, 1983 Denver

ed-2
ai/18

Robert A.
