This figure is derived by adding up all <br />the reponing observers monthly rainfall data for each county and dividing by the number of <br />observers in the county. Doing so. we find that Gove had the greatest average rainfall of any <br />county at nearly 17 inches for the 4-month period. followed closely by Lane with 16 inches. In <br />Fig. 22 it's apparent Lane County had the greatest percentage gain above average this year, <br />followed by nearly equal gains in Decatur. Sheridan and Gove counties Greatest percentage <br />decrease from average were seen in Ford. Grant and Haskell counties---the only counties in the <br />WKWMP that appeared to be below average. <br /> <br />46 <br />
