<br />(3) demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of projects <br />of this type in the Western High Plains states <br /> <br />The program was implemented in 1975 and first became known as <br />the Muddy Road Program; in later years, it was changed to the <br />present Western Kansas Weather Modification Prooram (WKvMP). <br /> <br />Pages 3 and 4 displays various participating county groups: <br /> <br />Figure 1 (a) - the current 13 counties participating in the <br />1993 WKWM Program. <br /> <br />Figure 1 (b) all 16 counties in Western Kansas which have <br />ever participated in the WKWM Program from 1975. <br /> <br />Figure 1 (c) - the 6-county group continuously participating <br />in the VlKWM Program from 1975. <br /> <br />We at WKWM strongly feel that data related just to the <br />particular counties shown in Fig. 1 (c) should comprise the basis <br />upon which any evaluations and statistical analyses purporting to <br />represent our seeding activities be measured. <br /> <br />, <br /> <br />2 <br />
