Stat~~cnt of the nature and objectives of proposed project. <br /> <br />The nature of the proposed program is to augment natural precip- <br />itation ':'ithin the project area to provide improved sno"'packs and <br />additional wate* supplies for storage or beneficial use. The opera-. <br />tiona 1 t echnology and procedures util ized in thi s program ,,'ere <br />derived from previous snowpack augmentation progr3IDs operated in <br />Colorado, specifical1y: the Climax and Wolf Creek research programs, <br />the Colorado River Basin Pilot Pl'oject and the last five winter's <br />programs operated by Western "eather Consultants.
