APPENDIX TO APPLICATION FOR WEATHER MODIFICATION PERMIT

3. The purpose of this permit application is to authorize overflight
of cloud seeding aircraft which are targeting the western Kansas
counties shown on Ops PIan, Fig. 1. The benefits of hail suppression
and rain augmentation apply to those primary target counties in
Kansas. Since the adjoining Colorado counties are not in the primary
area we do not envision them accruing any benefits or disbenefits from
the program.

be conducted in accordance with applicable FAA air traffic control
regulations.

11. Weather modification consequential liability insurance in the amount
of $1,000,000 is presently held by the sponsoring Groundwater District
#1. A copy of the new policy will be submitted upon receipt by the
District. The state of Colorado will.benamed as additionally insured.
