<br />FINDINGS OF FACT
<br />
<br />This matter came on for public hearing on December 4, 1975, before John
<br />Phillip Linn, Hearing Officer for the Department of Natural Resources, State
<br />of Colorado, at Carson Auditorium on the Adams State College, Campus , Alamosa,
<br />Colorado. A transcript of the proceedings, prepared by Mary M. Hall, Certified
<br />Shorthand Reporter, was received by the Hearing Officer on December 15, 1975.

<br />The following members of the Advisory Committee were present and partici-
<br />pated in the hearing:

<br />firm Maynes and Anesi, Attorneys at Law, Durango, Colorado.

<br />Mr. Pete Thompson, representing Concerned Citizens for the Preservation
<br />of Natural Resources and the cattlemen, was not opposed to granting of the
<br />Permit on condition that a committee, discussed infra, would monitor the
<br />'project and have the authority to alter or terminate seeding operations when
<br />in its judgment damage was bei ng done. "
