Each weather system will be evaluated as a potential
augmentation unit and seeding operations will be conducted
in those ~oLtions of the cloud regime which are deter~ined
to be favorable for precipitation augmentation.

The requested generators in the network will be ignited one
to three hours prior to the onset or seedable clouds and
shut down approximately one to three hours prior to the end
of the potentially favorable period for seeding. These
times should allow for ample transport' and diffusion of
seeding material during the initial precipitation period
and time for the utilization of the seeding material before
conditions end or become unfavorable in the seeded area.

In cases where low-level inversions and blocking flow are
present, the generator network will be altered rrom normal
patterns to take into consideration where the pooling and
ventilation zones will occur.
