<br />PUBLIC NOTICE OF INTENT TO MODIFY WEATHER
<br />
<br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Colorado Greenhouse, Inc" a Colorado Corporation, whose
<br />address is 68 II Weld County Road 31, Fort Lupton, Colorado 80621, herein after referred to as
<br />"Applicant". has filed with the Director of the Colorado Water Conservation Board (as designee of
<br />the Colorado Department of Natural Resources) an application for a permit to conduct weather
<br />modification operations within the State of Colorado and within the areas hereinafter more
<br />specifically stated, The Applicant shall conduct such operations for and on behalf of itself
<br />
<br />The primary target area(s) of the operations for which the Weather Modification Permit is sought are
<br />described as follows:
<br />
<br />1. The Northwest V. of Section 34, TO'Wnship 2 North, Range 66 West of the 6th P,M, in Weld
<br />County, Colorado (68 II WCR 31, Ft. Lupton, Colordo ),
<br />
<br />2, The Northeast V. of Section 10, Township 3 North, Range 56 West of the 6th P,M in
<br />Morgan County, Colorado (1450 S, Clayton, Brush, Colorado),
<br />
<br />A Permit is sought for weather modification operations to be conducted each year beginning in 1998,
<br />
<br />The intended effect of the weather modification operations is to reduce the incidence of hail in the
<br />primary target area and to induce precipitation in a non-solid stale in order to alleviate hail
<br />damagellosses to growing crops,
<br />

<br />Pursuant to Colorado Revised Statutes section 36-20-112 (t)(2), public hearings on the Application
<br />for Weather Modification Permit shall be held at (I) 1:30 p,m, on August 5, 1998 at the United
<br />Power Building, First Floor Conference Room located at 323 Denver Avenue, Fort Lupton,
<br />Colorado, and (2) at 1 :00 p,m on August 6, 1998 at the Morgan County Commissioners Hearing
<br />Room, 231 Ensign Street. Fort Morgan, Colorado 80701.
