These operations have been carried out during <br /> <br />,', <br /> <br />the winter season by Water Resources Development Corporation <br /> <br />on, behalf of Grand Mesa Water Users, Inc. <br /> <br />The 1975 weather modification program represents th~ third year' <br /> <br />"of, operation under a 1971 agreement. The resumption of activities <br /> <br />this year ended a two~year hiatus in seeding activities over the <br /> <br />, Mesa." Previous operations were carried out in 1971 and 1972. <br /> <br />This report summarizes the 1975 operations and includes a review <br /> <br />of the actual precipitation that occurred during the conbractua1 <br /> <br />period. The analysis of the precipitation is achieved through' <br /> <br />the use of percent of norma1s...norma1s in this case are long <br /> <br />term monthly precipitation no.ima1s established in the years prio'r <br /> <br />to any 1argesca1ec1oudseeding activity in the nation. This <br /> <br />method of analysis aids in smoothing out the natural variability <br /> <br />- <br /> <br />of rainfall due to topography or other local effects. <br /> <br />The 1975 program was in ,effect from 24 January through 23 April. <br />
