<br />, <br />,\ <br /> <br />Note: Except when noted otherwise, all weather modification operations conducted in the state <br />of Colorado are controlled by the meteorologist at the Colby radar site, located in Colby <br />Municipal Airport, Colby, KS. Colby is positioned at 39.430 N, 101.050W with a magnetic <br />declination of approximately 9.00 E. <br />Contained within this report is; a description and map of the target area within the State of <br />Colorado, a list of the aircraft used in seeding operations, a brief written description of each <br />operational day in which weather modification was conducted in Colorado, flight logs for each <br />aircraft participating in weather modification operations with dates, seeding times, radial <br />distances from Colby, KS given in degrees (magnetic) and nautical miles, total generator minutes <br />and total amounts of seeding agent dispensed in grams. All aircraft are equipped with Global <br />Positioning Systems (GPS) for navigation. All times are reported in Central Daylight Time <br />(CDT). Also included are computer generated GPS approximations of the seeding track of each <br />aircraft, for each day that seeding operations were conducted in the Colorado target area. <br /> <br />General description of Colorado target area: <br />The Colorado target are includes the area of Range of 42 West (R42W) in Cheyenne County, <br />Colorado. R42W being the first full Range west of the Kansas I Colorado state line. This area <br />includes T12S:R42W, T13S:R42W, T14S:R42W, T15S:R42W and TI6S:R42W. From the <br />intersection of the Kansas I Colorado State line and the Kit Carson I Cheyenne County line, west <br />along said County line to approximately County Road 54 (RD 54). South along said RD 54 to <br />the approximately County Road G (G RD). West along said RD G one statute mile to RD 54. <br />South along said RD 54 to the Cheyenne I Kiowa County line. East along said County line to the <br />Kansas I Colorado State line. This Colorado target area is part of, and borders the primary target <br />area inside Kansas. See maps (figure I )for general position and outline of target area.
